    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Managing Successful Projects manual. It has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes, and requires 60% to pass, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

    What are the prerequisites for each exam?

    Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Both exams are based on the PRINCE2 7 syllabus.
