    The PRINCE2 certification path in Netherlands is straightforward. You complete the accredited 35 contact hours, sit the Foundation exam, then progress to Practitioner.     Step 4: Sit the Foundation Exam

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 60 minutes. It is closed book, with a pass mark of 60 percent (36 out of 60 correct). It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, taken over 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted, and the pass mark is 60 percent (42 out of 70 marks). It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

    What are the prerequisites for each exam?

    PRINCE2 Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. In the combined programme you sit Foundation first, then Practitioner.

    Where and how do I sit the PRINCE2 exams?

    Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online via their proctored system available 24/7 or at an authorised test centre. Exams are usually arranged as part of your training and dual exam package.

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    PRINCE2 7 (2023) introduces People as a core capability, renames Themes to Practices, and integrates commercial management, sustainability and agile considerations. The training is aligned to this current 7th edition and its PeopleCert syllabus.

    Do I need prior experience to take this course?

    No prior experience is needed for Foundation, which is beginner friendly. The Practitioner level is designed for practising or aspiring project managers, and the training provides the structure and practice to support learners at both levels.

    Will I get a certificate of completion?
