    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, using 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks over 150 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70. It tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to project scenarios.

    What are the prerequisites for each exam?

    Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. The combined course takes you through both levels in sequence.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    You can sit both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised PeopleCert test centre. Exams are usually arranged as part of your combined training and dual exam package.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    Do I need prior experience to take this course?

    No prior experience is required for Foundation, so beginners are welcome. Practitioner builds on Foundation and is aimed at those managing or aspiring to manage projects. The combined course is designed to take you from the basics to applied practice.
