    How to Get PgMP Certified in UgandaStep-by-Step Certification Process

    The path to Online PgMP certification is designed for experienced program leaders managing multiple related projects aligned to strategic business objectives. The certification process includes eligibility verification, PMI application review, peer-panel assessment, and the final certification examination.

    Step 1: Confirm PgMP Eligibility

    Verify you meet one of the three eligibility sets (Set A / Set B / Set C) , secondary diploma OR bachelor's degree OR GAC-accredited bachelor's, plus 48/48/36 months of project management (or PMP) experience plus 84/48/36 months of program management experience within the past 15 years.

    Step 2: Enrol in PgMP Training

    Choose your preferred Invensis Learning PgMP cohort (3-Day Live Online Bootcamp, E-Learning, or Corporate Group Training). On enrolment you receive PMI-aligned PgMP courseware, panel-submission templates, scenario mock-exam material, and the 24 contact hours you need for your PMI application.

    Step 3: Document Program Management Experience for Panel Review

    Step 4: Submit the PgMP Application to PMI

    Step 5: Sit the 170-Question PgMP Exam via Pearson VUE

    After panel approval you receive a one-year exam eligibility window. Book your PgMP exam through Pearson VUE , online proctored from your home or office in Uganda, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. The exam is 170 scenario-based multiple-choice questions over 240 minutes.

    Step 6: Earn the PgMP Credential and Plan CCR Renewal

    Can I take PgMP training without senior experience?

    Anyone can attend the training, but to sit the exam PMI requires substantial project and programme management experience under one of three eligibility sets. We guide you on qualifying and documenting your experience.

    What topics does the PgMP training cover?

    The training covers the five performance domains: Strategic Program Management, Program Life Cycle Management, Benefits Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Governance, plus PMI application guidance and exam strategy.

    Which standard is the training aligned to?

    The courseware is aligned to The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition, from PMI, and the current PgMP Examination Content Outline that defines the exam.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the 170-question exam format, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PgMP Examination Content Outline and Handbook, templates, flashcards and chapter-wise quizzes to support your revision.
