How to Get Agile PM Certified in UruguayStep-by-Step Certification Process

The path to Online Agile PM certification follows a structured two-exam route. There are no prerequisites for the Foundation examination. After completing the combined Foundation and Practitioner training, candidates progress through both certification exams to demonstrate their knowledge of Agile Project Management principles and practices. Most learners complete the process within 1 to 2 weeks after training.

Step 1: Complete the Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Training

Enrol in the Invensis Learning Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Certification training in Uruguay (5-Day Live Online Bootcamp, E-Learning, or Corporate Group Training). The integrated programme covers the Agile PM lifecycle, roles and responsibilities, project control, requirements, estimating, and risk management.

Step 2: Sit the Agile PM Foundation Exam

Take the Foundation exam: 50 multiple-choice questions, 40 minutes, 50% pass mark (25 of 50), closed book. Delivered online proctored from your home or office in Uruguay, or at an approved test centre.

Step 3: Earn the Agile PM Foundation Credential

On passing the Foundation exam, your Agile PM Foundation certificate is issued. The Foundation credential validates your knowledge of Agile project management fundamentals.

Step 4: Sit the Agile PM Practitioner Exam

Take the Practitioner exam: 4 objective-test questions, 2.5 hours, 50% pass mark (40 of 80 points), open book to the official Agile PM manual. The Practitioner exam is scenario-based and tests applied knowledge in realistic project contexts.

Step 5: Activate Your Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Credentials

On passing both exams, you earn both the Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner certificates. The Foundation credential is lifetime valid; the Practitioner credential typically has a 5-year validity, renewable via continuing professional development (CPD) or re-examination.

Step 6: Maintain Your Practitioner Credential

Maintain your Agile PM Practitioner credential by earning CPD points each year or by re-sitting the Practitioner exam before the 5-year validity expires. Foundation does not require renewal.

    What Our Learners Say

    Passed Both Exams with Confidence

"The dual programme gave me the structure I was missing. MoSCoW and timeboxing changed how I run projects, and the mock exams meant I walked into both papers with confidence. I passed Foundation and Practitioner in the same week."

Filled the Gap Between Scrum and Governance

"As a scrum master I knew agile at team level, but AgilePM gave me the lifecycle and governance view I needed to step up. The roles and responsibilities module mapped straight to how our delivery teams actually work."

    Practical Exam Technique That Stuck

"The open-book Practitioner technique was the most useful part for me. Learning to navigate the handbook under time pressure made the scenario questions manageable, and I now apply the same discipline to requirements at work."

Governed Agile Across the Whole Squad

"We trained a delivery squad on AgilePM to add governance to our agile projects for international clients. The team now shares one language for prioritisation and control, and our scope conversations with clients are far cleaner."

    General

What is the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certification?

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner is a two-level agile project management qualification based on DSDM. Foundation validates your knowledge of the framework, while Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor it to real projects. The combined programme prepares you for both exams.

Is AgilePM worth it for professionals in Uruguay?

Yes. Agile is the standard way of working in Uruguay's export software, fintech and global services companies, and governed agile delivery skills are in demand. AgilePM is recognised in over 150 countries and maps to roles from scrum master to delivery manager and agile coach.

Who should take this AgilePM course?

The course suits project managers adopting agile, PRINCE2 or Scrum holders adding a project-level agile credential, business analysts, and team members such as developers and testers who work on AgilePM projects and want to understand the framework and roles.

Who owns and publishes the AgilePM framework?

The DSDM and AgilePM framework is owned and published by the Agile Business Consortium, formerly the DSDM Consortium. The course is aligned to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook and the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

Do I need experience before starting?

No. AgilePM Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must hold AgilePM Foundation or an accepted equivalent, which the combined programme covers by taking Foundation content first.

    Pricing
