    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method and has no formal prerequisites.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, with 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks in 150 minutes. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It is scenario based and tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2, with the official manual permitted.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Foundation itself has no prerequisites, which is why the combined pathway takes you through both levels in sequence.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can re-sit the exam through PeopleCert; re-sit fees and policies are confirmed at booking. Our preparation includes mock exams and practice questions for both levels to help you sit each exam with confidence. Talk to an advisor about resit support options.
