What Is the Project Management Fundamentals Course?A Practical Grounding for Project Roles
Project Management Fundamentals Training (PMF) is a foundation-level programme that teaches the essential principles, processes and tools of managing projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring and control, and closure. Delivered across Uruguay as live virtual instructor-led and corporate on-site training, it gives aspiring and working professionals practical skills they can use straight away. Over two days (16 hours), you work through five modules covering project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the project management cycle, and an overview of Agile projects. You also gain a working understanding of predictive (plan-based) methodologies and business-analysis frameworks, so you can see how different delivery approaches fit real work. There are no prerequisites to join, and on completion you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. The programme is a strong first step for anyone who later wants to progress toward advanced credentials such as PMP, CAPM or PRINCE2.
