What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

Is PMP certification worth it in Vietnam?

Yes. With record foreign investment flowing into manufacturing, technology and infrastructure, Vietnam has strong demand for certified project managers and too few of them. PMP holders qualify for senior roles and earn well above non-certified peers, making the credential a clear career investment.

Is the PMP recognised in Vietnam?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is valued by employers across Vietnam, including multinationals such as Samsung, Intel, FPT Software, Viettel and Vingroup that run large domestic and international projects.

What standard is the current PMP exam based on?

The current PMP exam is aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) published by PMI. It covers five performance domains with a near-equal split of predictive and agile content.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across PMI's Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Vietnam?

Training fees vary by format, whether live online, classroom or corporate group training. The PMI exam fee is billed separately and is not part of the training fee. Contact us for current pricing and to request a quote for your preferred format.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 35 contact hours, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, downloadable templates, application guidance and a course completion certificate. Talk to a learning advisor for details.

Is the PMP exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD, approximately USD 405 for members and USD 555 for non-members (verify current fees at pmi.org). PMI membership, around USD 139 per year, reduces the exam cost and includes free access to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank question types.

What are the PMP exam domains and their weights?

The current exam, aligned to the 8th edition, has five domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive, Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%) and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Results are determined through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

How many attempts do I get for the PMP exam?

You may take up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period that begins when PMI approves your application. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts.

Where can I take the PMP exam in Vietnam?

You can sit the exam at a Pearson VUE test centre in Vietnam or take it online from home or office through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or PMI's portal.

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers all five performance domains of the PMP Examination Content Outline: fundamentals and core concepts, predictive methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement, plus exam strategy and application guidance.

Does the PMP training cover agile?

Yes. Agile is a major focus, with a dedicated Agile Frameworks and Methodologies domain worth 27% of the exam. You learn Scrum, Kanban, Lean and hybrid delivery alongside predictive methods, reflecting the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest PMBOK Guide?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, so you prepare against the standard the exam is actually based on.

Do I need prior experience to join the training?

Anyone can enrol in the training to build knowledge and earn 35 contact hours. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires project leadership experience: 36 months with a four-year degree, or 60 months with a secondary diploma.

What materials and practice are included?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, 1000+ practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, chapter-wise quizzes, flashcards and downloadable templates to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP exam?

You need either a four-year degree with 36 months of leading projects, or a secondary diploma with 60 months of leading projects. Both paths require 35 contact hours of project management education, which this training provides.
