    Step 1: Confirm PgMP Eligibility

    Verify you meet one of the three eligibility sets (Set A / Set B / Set C) , secondary diploma OR bachelor's degree OR GAC-accredited bachelor's, plus 48/48/36 months of project management (or PMP) experience plus 84/48/36 months of program management experience within the past 15 years.

    Step 2: Enrol in PgMP Training

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The PgMP exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours (240 minutes). It is closed book and uses single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice formats.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

    Five domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%). The largest weighting sits with Program Life Cycle Management.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.
