    The path to online LSSGB certification follows a straightforward single-exam route. Complete accredited training, prepare using mock examinations and practical exercises, take the IASSC ICGB examination, and earn a lifetime-valid Lean Six Sigma yellow Belt credential.

    Step 1: Enrol in the 4-Day LSSGB Training

    Choose your preferred Invensis Learning LSSGB cohort (4-Day Live Online Bootcamp, E-Learning, or Corporate Group Training). The course covers the full DMAIC methodology at Green Belt depth.

    Step 2: Create Your IASSC Account

    Create your account on the IASSC web exam portal. Invensis Learning packages typically include the IASSC ICGB exam voucher.

    Step 3: Complete the Course and Practice Mocks

    Attend the full 4-day training, work through the statistical exercises, and complete at least one full-length 100-question mock exam.

    Step 4: Schedule the IASSC Green Belt Exam

    Define Problems and Project Scope

    Learn to scope and define high-impact improvement projects. You will translate customer needs into critical-to-quality requirements, build a business case and project charter, apply the Y = f(x) problem-solving logic, and use cost of poor quality and Pareto analysis to focus effort where it matters.

    Measure Process Performance

    Capture a reliable baseline of how a process really performs. You will map processes with SIPOC and value stream maps, run measurement system analysis and gage R&R, apply descriptive statistics, and assess process capability using metrics such as DPMO and rolled throughput yield.

    Analyse Data and Root Causes

    Find the real drivers of variation, not just the symptoms. You will use multi-vari analysis, inferential statistics and the central limit theorem, then run hypothesis tests for normal and non-normal data to confirm root causes with evidence rather than opinion.

    What is the format of the LSSGB exam?

    The Green Belt exam is a closed-book test of 100 multiple-choice and true/false questions, with up to 10 additional unscored questions on some forms. You have three hours to complete it.

    How is the Green Belt exam scored?

    You must achieve a minimum of 385 points out of 550 to pass. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases, at about 20 questions per phase, so broad mastery matters.

    Where and how do I sit the exam?

    You can take it through web-based online proctoring, available on demand, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. There are no eligibility prerequisites to sit the exam.

    What is the exam application process?

    Purchase your exam voucher from the official IASSC store, choose online proctored or test-centre delivery, then schedule and sit the 100-question, three-hour exam. An optional non-proctored evaluation exam lets you check your readiness first.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    You can retake the exam by purchasing another voucher. Our trainers provide mock exams, practice questions and revision support to help you prepare thoroughly and approach your attempt with confidence.

    Can a beginner follow the content?
