    The PRINCE2 certification path in Costa Rica is straightforward. You complete the accredited 35 contact hours, sit the Foundation exam, then progress to Practitioner.     Step 1: Eligibility Check

    Confirm your readiness: Foundation has no prerequisites, while Practitioner requires a recognized prior credential such as PRINCE2 Foundation, PMQ, PPQ, PMP, CAPM, or IPMA Levels A, B, C, D.

    Step 2: Enroll

    Choose your preferred learning mode (E-Learning, Instructor-Led Bootcamp, or Corporate Group Training) and batch. Once enrolled, you get access to AXELOS-accredited courseware, schedules, and your study plan.

    Step 3: Attend Classes

    Step 4: Sit the Foundation Exam

    How many exams are in the combined PRINCE2 programme?

    There are two separate PeopleCert exams. You must pass the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. The combined programme prepares you for both, and each is sat and marked independently.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book with single-answer questions, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. There are no prerequisites for this level.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, taken over 150 minutes. It is open book, so the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted, and it is scenario-based. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Foundation itself has no prerequisites, so the combined course lets you build from the ground up to Practitioner level.

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    You can re-sit the relevant PeopleCert exam. Our training includes practice questions and mock exams to prepare you thoroughly, and our team can guide you on resitting. Confirm current re-sit policies and fees with PeopleCert before you book.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?
