    Both exams are closed book and multiple choice. The Foundation exam uses single-answer questions testing knowledge and comprehension, while the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based questions that test how you apply techniques in realistic project situations.

    How many questions are in each exam and what is the pass mark?

    Each exam has 40 questions and lasts 60 minutes. The pass mark for both is 65 percent, which is 26 out of 40 correct answers.

    What is the difference between the Foundation and Practitioner exams?

    Foundation tests knowledge and comprehension of BA concepts across 14 topic areas. Practitioner tests application and analysis across seven topic areas using scenario-based questions. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for Practitioner.
