How to Get Agile PM Certified in CroatiaStep-by-Step Certification Process

The path to Online Agile PM certification follows a structured two-exam route. There are no prerequisites for the Foundation examination. After completing the combined Foundation and Practitioner training, candidates progress through both certification exams to demonstrate their knowledge of Agile Project Management principles and practices. Most learners complete the process within 1 to 2 weeks after training.

Step 1: Complete the Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Training

Enrol in the Invensis Learning Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Certification training in Croatia (5-Day Live Online Bootcamp, E-Learning, or Corporate Group Training). The integrated programme covers the Agile PM lifecycle, roles and responsibilities, project control, requirements, estimating, and risk management.

Step 2: Sit the Agile PM Foundation Exam

Take the Foundation exam: 50 multiple-choice questions, 40 minutes, 50% pass mark (25 of 50), closed book. Delivered online proctored from your home or office in Croatia, or at an approved test centre.

Step 3: Earn the Agile PM Foundation Credential

On passing the Foundation exam, your Agile PM Foundation certificate is issued. The Foundation credential validates your knowledge of Agile project management fundamentals.

Step 4: Sit the Agile PM Practitioner Exam

Take the Practitioner exam: 4 objective-test questions, 2.5 hours, 50% pass mark (40 of 80 points), open book to the official Agile PM manual. The Practitioner exam is scenario-based and tests applied knowledge in realistic project contexts.

Step 5: Activate Your Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Credentials

On passing both exams, you earn both the Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner certificates. The Foundation credential is lifetime valid; the Practitioner credential typically has a 5-year validity, renewable via continuing professional development (CPD) or re-examination.

Step 6: Maintain Your Practitioner Credential

Maintain your Agile PM Practitioner credential by earning CPD points each year or by re-sitting the Practitioner exam before the 5-year validity expires. Foundation does not require renewal.

The Agile Delivery Skills You Will MasterReady to Apply on Real Projects

This AgilePM programme builds the knowledge and applied skills to deliver agile projects within a governed framework. By the end, you can run the full lifecycle, prioritise with MoSCoW, control timeboxes and prepare for both certification exams.

    Apply the Eight AgilePM Principles

Skills covered in the AgilePM course start with the eight guiding principles, from focus on the business need to demonstrating control. You will learn to apply each principle to real project decisions and spot where projects drift away from them.

    Run the Full AgilePM Lifecycle

Work through the six lifecycle phases, from Pre-Project and Feasibility to Foundations, Exploration, Engineering and Deployment. You will learn which products and decisions belong in each phase and how to move a project between them with confidence.

    Prioritise Scope with MoSCoW

Use MoSCoW prioritisation to fix time and cost while flexing scope, protecting on-time delivery of the Must Haves. You will learn to resolve prioritisation conflicts and keep delivery on track when timeboxes come under pressure.

    Deliver Through Timeboxing

Plan and control timeboxes across their Kick-Off, Investigation, Refinement and Closing stages. You will learn to run iterative, incremental delivery and coordinate multiple timeboxes without extending agreed deadlines.

    Structure AgilePM Roles and Teams

Map the business, technical and management roles of an AgilePM project, from Business Sponsor and Visionary to Project Manager and Team Leader. You will learn to structure teams and manage collaboration and dynamics across them.

    Plan, Control and Manage Risk

Plan at strategic, tactical and operational levels, track progress with burndown and timebox data, and manage risk within the AgilePM governance model. You will also build exam technique for both the Foundation and Practitioner papers.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner is a two-level agile project management credential based on DSDM, the framework owned and published by the Agile Business Consortium. It covers the eight AgilePM principles, the six-phase lifecycle, roles, MoSCoW prioritisation and timeboxing, and leads to two separate certifications.

    General

What is the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certification?

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner is a two-level agile project management credential based on DSDM, the framework owned and published by the Agile Business Consortium. It covers the eight AgilePM principles, the six-phase lifecycle, roles, MoSCoW prioritisation and timeboxing, and leads to two separate certifications.

Who should take AgilePM training in Croatia?

AgilePM training suits project managers, business analysts, PRINCE2 holders and delivery team members who want agile skills within a governed structure. It is a strong fit for professionals in Croatia's IT, banking, telecoms and public-sector projects who need auditable, iterative delivery.

Is AgilePM recognised in Croatia and internationally?

Yes. AgilePM is recognised in over 150 countries and is particularly strong across Europe. In Croatia it is valued by IT services, financial services and public-sector employers who run agile delivery inside formal governance.

Is the AgilePM certification worth it?

Yes. AgilePM equips you to lead governed agile delivery, a skill Croatian employers increasingly seek as EU-funded and digital-transformation programmes grow. Agile project manager roles commonly range from €29,000 to €58,000, rising for delivery and programme leaders.

What are the eight AgilePM principles?

They are: focus on the business need, deliver on time, collaborate, never compromise quality, build incrementally from firm foundations, develop iteratively, communicate continuously and clearly, and demonstrate control. The course teaches you to apply each one in practice.

Do I need prior experience to start AgilePM training?

No. AgilePM Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. Prior agile or project management exposure helps, but the programme builds knowledge from first principles before moving to the applied Practitioner level.

    Pricing

How much does AgilePM training cost in Croatia?

Training fees are quoted in euros and vary by format, whether live virtual, classroom or corporate group training. The exam fees are billed separately through authorised channels. Pricing is available on request, so contact a learning advisor for a quote.

What is included in the AgilePM course fee?

The training fee typically includes AgilePM-aligned courseware, industry case studies, Foundation and Practitioner mock exams, practice questions, learner support and a course completion certificate. Confirm the exact inclusions for your chosen format when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam arrangements and fees can vary by package and are often billed separately from the training. Confirm whether your package includes the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers when you enrol. Request a quote for the full breakdown.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts for AgilePM training?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for delivery teams, PMOs and departments. Contact us for a tailored quote for your team in Croatia.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are in the AgilePM programme?

There are two separate exams: the AgilePM Foundation exam and the AgilePM Practitioner exam. You must pass both to hold both credentials. The five-day combined programme prepares you for each one.

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in a single-answer format, lasts 40 minutes and is closed book. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 correct answers out of 50. It is typically taken at the end of the Foundation training.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book with the AgilePM Handbook permitted. It has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, over 2 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 30 marks out of 60.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The AgilePM Handbook is allowed during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgment rather than lookup, so deep method knowledge and efficient handbook navigation are both essential.

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

You need the AgilePM Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, before sitting the Practitioner exam. The combined programme covers Foundation first, then Practitioner, so you can progress through both levels in sequence.

How and where are the AgilePM exams taken?

Both exams can be taken via online proctoring or at an authorised test centre. They are usually sat at the end of the relevant training, so you can complete both the Foundation and Practitioner papers within the programme timeline.

    Course Content

What topics does the AgilePM training cover?

The programme covers five areas: agile and AgilePM philosophy and principles, the lifecycle and products, roles and responsibilities, requirements with MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing and quality, and planning, control and risk. Foundation builds knowledge; Practitioner develops applied skill.

What is MoSCoW prioritisation in AgilePM?

MoSCoW stands for Must have, Should have, Could have and Won't have this time. It fixes time and cost while flexing scope, so all Must Haves are delivered, along with most Should Haves and as many Could Haves as time allows.

    What is timeboxing in AgilePM?

A timebox is a fixed-length period, typically 2 to 4 weeks, in which a defined scope of work is attempted. Time is fixed and scope flexes through MoSCoW. The timebox lifecycle has four stages: Kick-Off, Investigation, Refinement and Closing.

Which standard is the AgilePM course based on?

The course aligns to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook and the official AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner syllabi, published by the Agile Business Consortium. AgilePM is built on the DSDM framework, the original agile project management method.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner mock exams, practice questions and case studies. These help you identify weak areas and build readiness for both the closed-book Foundation paper and the open-book Practitioner paper.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate. You then sit the Foundation and Practitioner exams to earn the official AgilePM digital certificates for each level.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in AgilePM training in Croatia?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you pick the right batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom training and customised corporate group training. Choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style, whether you study individually or as part of a team.

How long is the AgilePM programme?

The combined programme runs over five days and about 40 training hours. Foundation content is typically covered on days one to three and Practitioner content on days four to five, with each exam sat at the end of its level.

Can beginners enrol in the AgilePM course?

Yes. AgilePM Foundation has no prerequisites, so beginners can start with confidence. The training builds core knowledge before moving to applied Practitioner scenarios, with trainer support throughout both levels.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this before your batch begins.
