    Do I need PRINCE2 Foundation before this course?

    No. PRINCE2 Agile Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. For the Practitioner exam you need PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, so PRINCE2 Foundation holders can progress straight into the Practitioner level.

    Exam

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile exams?

    The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions, is closed book, lasts 60 minutes and requires 60% to pass (24 of 40). The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions, is open book, lasts 150 minutes and requires 60% to pass (30 of 50).

    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    There are two separate PeopleCert exams: PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. The combined programme prepares you for each exam in sequence.

    What is the passing score for the exams?

    Both exams require 60% to pass. That is 24 out of 40 questions for Foundation and 30 out of 50 questions for Practitioner. The training focuses on broad mastery across every syllabus area to give you a comfortable margin.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    The PRINCE2 Agile publication is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, the questions are scenario-based and require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the publication and deep method knowledge are both needed.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    Where and how do I take the exams?

    Both exams are delivered through PeopleCert, either online with 24/7 OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at an authorised test centre. You can schedule each exam once you feel prepared during your combined programme.

    What topics does the PRINCE2 Agile course cover?

    The course covers the Foundation topics, including the agile mindset, blending agile with PRINCE2, stakeholder engagement, risk and change control, progress tracking and roles, then the applied Practitioner topics on tailoring, guiding agile delivery, managing by stages and governing with flexibility.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and suits those new to PRINCE2 Agile. Prior familiarity with Scrum or Kanban helps but is not required. The training builds the concepts step by step before the applied Practitioner content.
