    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book, 60 minutes, with 60 multiple-choice questions. You need 60% (36 out of 60) to pass. It tests your knowledge of the PRINCE2 principles, people, practices and processes.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, 150 minutes, with 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks. You need 60% (42 marks) to pass. It is scenario-based and tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 7.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Foundation itself has no prerequisites, so the combined programme lets you qualify for both credentials.

    How and where can I sit the PRINCE2 exams?

    Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert online with 24/7 proctoring, or at authorised test centres. They are usually arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the programme.

    What if I do not pass the first time?
