    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The passing score is 60 per cent, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, using the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual, with 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks in 150 minutes. The passing score is 60 per cent, which is 42 out of 70 marks, and it is scenario based.

    What are the prerequisites for the two exams?

    PRINCE2 Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Practitioner exam requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Confirm current equivalents with PeopleCert.
