    The Practitioner exam has 40 scenario-based multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, closed book, with the same 65% pass mark. Each question presents a realistic project scenario that tests how you apply business analysis techniques. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite.

    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    Course Content

    What will I learn in the Business Analysis training?

    You will learn to investigate business situations, elicit and prioritise requirements, model processes and requirements with BPMN and use cases, manage stakeholders, analyse strategy, define solutions and build a business case, covering both the Foundation and Practitioner syllabi.

    Which topics do the two levels cover?

    The Foundation level covers 14 topic areas, from what business analysis is through investigation, requirements and modelling. The Practitioner level covers 7 applied topic areas, testing how you use those techniques in project scenarios. Both align to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    Do I need prior experience to take this course?

    No prior experience is required for the Foundation level, which is open to all. The Practitioner level builds on Foundation knowledge, so we cover the concepts first and then move into applied technique, making the programme suitable for beginners.

    Are practice tests and case studies included?

    Yes. The programme includes industry-driven case studies plus mock exams and practice questions aligned to both the Foundation and Practitioner exam formats, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness.

    Is the courseware aligned to the current EXIN BCS syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, and is delivered by EXIN-accredited trainers.
