The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) certification is a two-level qualification that validates your knowledge and applied ability to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation covers the concepts and models; Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) certification is a two-level qualification that validates your knowledge and applied ability to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation covers the concepts and models; Practitioner proves you can apply them to real change scenarios.

Who should take this change management course?

It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and senior leaders in Kazakhstan who lead or support organisational change and want a globally recognised credential.

Is the change management certification worth it in Kazakhstan?

Yes. As banks, energy, mining and government bodies accelerate digital transformation, certified change professionals are in demand. Change and transformation roles in Almaty average around ₸6.8M to ₸10M per year, and the credential is recognised worldwide.

What standard is the course based on?

The course aligns to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK), maintained by the Change Management Institute, and to the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi, covering models such as ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin and Bridges.

Are there prerequisites for the course?

There are no prerequisites for Foundation, which is open to all. The Practitioner exam requires you to hold the Change Management Foundation certificate first, which the combined programme prepares you for.

How long are the certifications valid?

Validity and any renewal requirements are confirmed by the certification body. Check the current policy with Invensis Learning before you enrol so you know what to expect after certifying.

    Pricing

How much does the change management training cost in Kazakhstan?

Fees vary by format and schedule, and the combined package usually covers training plus both exam vouchers. Contact Invensis Learning for current pricing. Request a quote to compare live virtual, classroom and group training options.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

In most combined packages the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers are included, but this can vary by plan. Confirm current inclusions with a learning advisor before you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. Group and corporate training comes with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, PMOs and HR functions. Ask about group pricing for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Change Management Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It is delivered by online proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, with 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, that is 40 out of 80 marks, and the Practitioner Guide is permitted.

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

Two separate exams. You sit and pass the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam. Both must be passed to hold both credentials.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam, but the scenario-based questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and method knowledge both matter.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit under the certification body's re-sit policy. Our training includes mock exams and first-attempt guidance to help you prepare thoroughly; check current re-sit details with Invensis Learning.

How are the exams delivered in Kazakhstan?

Both exams can be taken via online proctoring from home or office, or at an authorised test centre, so you can certify without travelling far.
