    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions, lasts 60 minutes and is closed book. The passing score is 60%, which is 36 of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted. The passing score is 60%, which is 42 of 70 marks. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

    Where and how do I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    Both exams are delivered online via the PeopleCert OnVUE online proctored system, available 24/7, or at a PeopleCert authorised test centre. They are usually arranged through the accredited training provider as part of your programme.

    Which standard are the exams based on?

    Both exams are based on the PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabuses, aligned to the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual, 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.
