What topics does Primavera P6 Fundamentals cover?

Fundamentals covers the P6 interface and enterprise project structure, the work breakdown structure and activities, relationships and scheduling, the critical path and float, resource assignment, baselines, progress updating and basic reporting, all through hands-on exercises.

What does the Advanced level cover?

Advanced covers advanced scheduling options, resource and cost loading with cost accounts, earned value management, baseline management and Claim Digger, multi-project and enterprise portfolio management, and custom reporting with Excel integration.

Is the training hands-on?

Yes. You follow along inside Primavera P6 while the trainer demonstrates each feature, and you practise on realistic project scenarios. The emphasis is on applying P6 to real planning and controls work, not just theory.

Does the course cover earned value management?

Yes, at the Advanced level. You learn to cost-load a schedule and calculate earned value metrics such as SPI, CPI, SV, CV, EAC and TCPI in Primavera P6, then report performance for capital project controls.

Which version of Primavera P6 is used?
