    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions with a single answer each, lasts 60 minutes and is closed book. The pass mark is 60 percent, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It is delivered online via PeopleCert proctoring or at a test centre.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted. It is scenario based, and the pass mark is 60 percent, which is 42 out of 70 marks.

    Do I need Foundation before taking Practitioner?

    Yes. PRINCE2 Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. The combined course prepares you for both levels in sequence, Foundation first and then Practitioner.
