Change Management Certification Training in Hamburg equips you to lead the people side of organisational change and to earn two globally respected credentials in one programme. You work through five core areas, from how individuals experience change to stakeholder engagement, change practice and professional ethics, using established frameworks such as ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin and Bridges' Transition Model. It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR business partners and consultants across Hamburg's aviation, logistics, consumer goods and financial services employers, where large transformation and digitalisation programmes are driving demand for people who can make change stick. Start your change journey with Invensis Learning and move from study to certified with a clear, supported path.

Foundation confirms your knowledge of change models and concepts, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real organisational scenarios. The combined programme prepares you for both.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level change management qualification that validates your ability to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change models and concepts, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real organisational scenarios. The combined programme prepares you for both.

Who should take this change management course?

It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR business partners, organisational development practitioners, consultants and senior leaders who sponsor change. Foundation has no formal prerequisites, so professionals at any career stage in Hamburg can start.

Is the change management certification recognised in Hamburg?

Yes. It is a globally respected, vendor-neutral change management qualification recognised in over 150 countries and valued by Hamburg employers in aviation, logistics, consumer goods, media and financial services that run large transformation programmes.

Is this certification worth it for my career?

Yes. Change management skills are in short supply while transformation and digitalisation programmes multiply across Hamburg. Change manager roles in Germany average around EUR 77,000, with senior roles reaching EUR 104,000 or more, and certified professionals stand out to employers.

Which body governs the change management qualification?

The qualification is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute, and aligned to the current Change Management Practitioner Guide and the official Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

    Pricing

How much does the training cost in Hamburg?

Fees vary by delivery format and schedule, so the current price is available on request. The training package typically bundles both exam vouchers, courseware and mock exams. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share the latest pricing for your chosen format.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee usually includes instructor-led training across all five topic areas, aligned courseware, case studies, mock exams, and guidance to pass both exams on the first attempt. Exam voucher inclusion can vary, so confirm the details when you enquire.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the two change management exams?

There are two separate exams. The Foundation exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions. The Practitioner exam is open book and scenario-based, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

How many questions are on each exam and how long are they?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes. The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours (150 minutes).

What is the passing score for the exams?

Both exams require 50% to pass. That is 25 out of 50 for Foundation, and 40 out of 80 marks for Practitioner. Our mock exams and structured practice help you prepare for both.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential, and we train both.

Do I need Foundation before I sit Practitioner?

Yes. Change Management Foundation certification is required before you sit the Practitioner exam. The combined programme is designed to be taken sequentially, with Foundation first and Practitioner second.

What happens if I do not pass first time?

You can resit the relevant exam. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance to give you the best chance of passing both, and our team can advise on the resit process. Ask a learning advisor for details.
