    What is the format of the Black Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book with 150 multiple-choice questions; some forms add up to 15 unscored questions. A reference document with all required formulas and tables is provided during the exam.

    How long is the exam and what is the pass mark?

    You have four hours (240 minutes) to complete the exam. The minimum passing score is 580 out of 750 points. Non-native speakers may request an additional 60 minutes.

    How is the exam delivered?

    You can sit it online with on-demand web-based proctoring available around the clock, or at a PearsonVUE test centre. Both options are available in New Zealand and worldwide.

    What is the exam application process?

    Can I retake the exam if I do not pass?
