    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The passing score is 60%, meaning 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method and has no formal prerequisites.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book, using the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual. It has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes, and the passing score is 60%, meaning 42 out of 70 marks. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. In the combined program you sit Foundation first, then Practitioner, so both credentials are earned in sequence.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

    Both exams are delivered through PeopleCert, either via the OnVUE online proctored system available 24/7 or at a PeopleCert authorized test center. We help you schedule your exams as part of the program.

    What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can re-sit a PeopleCert exam; verify the current re-take policy and fees with PeopleCert. Our mock exams and prep are designed to build first-attempt confidence, and selected plans include additional support to help you prepare for a re-sit.

    Do I need prior experience to start?
