    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    The Foundation exam has 40 single-answer, multiple-choice questions, lasts 60 minutes and is closed book. The passing score is 65%, which is 26 out of 40 correct. It is delivered online proctored or at an accredited test location.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam also has 40 questions over 60 minutes and is closed book, but the questions are scenario-based, testing how you apply techniques in realistic project situations. The passing score is 65%, and the Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite.

    What is the passing score for the exams?

    Where can I take the EXIN BCS exams?

    Course Content

    What will I learn in the programme?

    You will learn investigation and elicitation, requirements engineering, process and requirements modelling, stakeholder management, strategy analysis, solution definition and business-case development. The Foundation level covers concepts and the Practitioner level applies them to scenarios.

    Do I need business analysis experience to start?

    No prior experience is required. The Foundation level is open to all and builds from the basics, so beginners and career changers can follow it comfortably, while experienced analysts use it to formalise their knowledge.

    What standard is the course aligned to?

    The training is aligned to the EXIN BCS Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, so what you study maps directly to what the exams assess.
