    How to Get CAPM Certified in RwandaStep-by-Step Certification Process

    The CAPM certification path in Rwanda is designed for individuals new to project management or those seeking to formalize their PM knowledge. You complete the required 23 contact hours, apply to PMI, prepare with mocks and assessments, and schedule your exam through Pearson VUE.     Step 1: Check Eligibility

    Review the eligibility requirements for CAPM certification, including education, work experience, prior knowledge, training hours, or mandatory prerequisites. Some certifications are beginner-friendly, while others require professional experience or approved training.

    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the Examination Content Outline effective 2023: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks and Methodologies, and Business Analysis Frameworks. It is aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition.

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. It is a closed-book exam delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, and performance is reported across the four CAPM domains. The best approach is broad mastery of all four domains rather than targeting a single number.

    How do I schedule and book the CAPM exam?

    Once your PMI application is approved, you pay the exam fee and schedule through Pearson VUE, either via OnVUE online proctoring or at a test centre, within your one-year eligibility period.

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    You may attempt the CAPM exam up to three times within your one-year eligibility period. Our practice questions, mock exams and trainer guidance are designed to help you prepare thoroughly and clear the exam with confidence.
