    What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

    What is the format of the Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a single answer each, taken closed book over 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50 percent, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation part of the course.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam is open book and scenario based, with 5 sections each worth 16 marks for 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50 percent, which is 40 out of 80 marks. The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam.

    How many exams are in the combined program?

    There are two separate exams. You sit the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam. You must pass both to hold both credentials, which is why the combined program prepares you for each in turn.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?
