Foundation confirms your knowledge of change concepts and models, and Practitioner confirms you can apply them to real scenarios. It is delivered as two separate exams.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) certification validates your ability to lead the people side of organizational change. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change concepts and models, and Practitioner confirms you can apply them to real scenarios. It is delivered as two separate exams.

Who should take this Change Management course?

It suits HR business partners, project and program managers, OD practitioners, consultants and senior leaders. In Cleveland, it is especially relevant for professionals in healthcare, manufacturing, banking and insurance who lead or support transformation.

Is the Change Management certification worth it?

Yes. Change management is among Cleveland's most in-demand skills, with organizational change consultants in Ohio averaging around $137,700 a year and senior change managers in Cleveland reaching about $172,000. The credential signals proven, applied capability to employers.

Which change management models does the course cover?

The syllabus covers ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Bridges' Transition Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence model and Cialdini's principles of influence.

What standard is the certification based on?

The course is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute, the current Change Management Practitioner Guide, and the official Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

    Pricing

What is included in the Change Management course fee?

Your fee typically includes aligned courseware, preparation for both exams, mock exams and practice questions, industry case studies, trainer support and a course completion certificate. Request a quote for the current inclusions on your chosen format.

How much does Change Management training cost in Cleveland?

Pricing varies by format and schedule and is available on request. Live online and classroom options are quoted separately from any exam fees. Talk to a learning advisor for current Cleveland batch pricing.

    Exam

How is the Change Management exam structured?

There are two exams. The Foundation exam is 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, single answer. The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 80 marks in 2.5 hours, open book. Both must be passed to hold both credentials.

What is the passing score for each exam?

Both exams require 50% to pass. That is 25 out of 50 correct on the Foundation exam, and 40 out of 80 marks on the Practitioner exam, which has five sections each worth 16 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge both matter.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. Change Management Foundation is a prerequisite for the Practitioner exam, or an accepted equivalent. The combined program is designed to take you through both levels in sequence.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

Our training includes structured preparation, mock exams and trainer guidance to help you clear both exams. Re-sit policies and any retake options vary by channel, so confirm the details available for your enrollment with our team.
