The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) certification validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organizational change. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change models and concepts; Practitioner confirms you can apply them to real scenarios. Both levels are earned in this combined program.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) certification validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organizational change. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change models and concepts; Practitioner confirms you can apply them to real scenarios. Both levels are earned in this combined program.

Who should take this change management course in Philadelphia?

It suits project managers, HR and OD professionals, transformation leads, consultants and senior leaders who guide organizational change. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation, so it is open to professionals at any stage across Philadelphia's healthcare, finance, pharma and consulting sectors.

Is the Change Management certification worth it?

Yes. Change roles in Philadelphia pay from around $96,000 for analysts to $160,000 for directors, and employers increasingly prefer certified change practitioners. The credential is recognized in over 150 countries and adds a respected discipline alongside project or HR experience. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Which standard is the course based on?

The course is built around the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) from the Change Management Institute and the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi. It draws on established models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin, Kotter's 8-Step Model and the McKinsey 7-S Framework.

Do I need prior change management experience?

No. Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Practitioner level requires the Foundation certification first, which you earn earlier in the same combined program, so you can start with no prior change background.

    Pricing

How much does the Change Management course cost in Philadelphia?

Training is quoted in US dollars and varies by format and schedule, so pricing is available on request. Your fee covers instructor-led training for both levels, courseware, practice questions and mock exams. Request a quote for current Philadelphia batch pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customized schedules and volume-based pricing for teams across the Philadelphia region. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with installment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Change Management exams?

There are two exams. The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions; the Practitioner exam is open book, scenario-based, with five sections. Both must be passed to hold both credentials.

How many questions are on the Foundation exam and what is the pass mark?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 correct out of 50. It is a closed-book exam.

How is the Practitioner exam structured?

The Practitioner exam has five scenario-based sections, each worth 16 marks, for 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. It is open book, and the pass mark is 50%, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgment, so you still need deep method knowledge and efficient guide navigation, both of which the training builds.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can resit the exam, and retake policies vary by package. Our program includes mock exams and exam technique for both levels to help you prepare with confidence. Ask your advisor about retake support before you book.
