    The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice, single-answer questions in 40 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is typically taken at the end of Foundation training.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. It is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

    How many exams are in the combined program?

    There are two separate exams. You sit and pass the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam. You must pass both to hold both credentials. The combined program covers Foundation content first, then Practitioner content.

    What are the prerequisites for the exams?

    Change Management Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Change Management Practitioner requires the Foundation certification first, or an accepted equivalent. Accepted equivalents are available on request.

    What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?
