    What is the format of the Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a single answer each, is closed book, and runs for 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50 percent, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is delivered by online proctoring or at an authorized test center.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, and lasts 2.5 hours. It is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. The pass mark is 50 percent, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

    How many exams are in the combined program?

    There are two separate exams. You must pass the Foundation exam and then the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. The combined program prepares you for both in one structured journey.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge both matter.

    What change models will I learn?

    You will learn established models including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence, and Cialdini's principles of influence.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. There are no prerequisites for Foundation, so beginners are welcome. The program builds from core concepts to applied practice, with trainer support and worked examples throughout, so you can start with no prior change-management background.

    What standard is the courseware aligned to?

    The courseware is aligned to the Change Management Institute's CMBoK, the current Change Management Practitioner Guide, and the Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi, so you study exactly what the exams assess.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive aligned course materials, industry-driven case studies, practice questions, full mock exams for both levels, and exam technique guidance, including how to navigate the Practitioner Guide under timed conditions.
